Back a few years ago, on one of our trips back home to Hawaii, we went to the Honolulu Fish Auction, what a blast!
Palate after palate of the freshest fish, I mean just brought out of the Pacific Ocean fresh, kept coming out from the fishing boats. Eat more fish!!
Zippy’s Restaurants in Hawaii have been voted the best for just about everything, and there’s no wonder.

Put them together with some steamed Rice and its THE BEST PLATE LUNCH!
They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why not have the quintessential meal from Hawaii,
… and Diamond Head in the background!

but kick it over the top with a glass of Guava Juice; then Aloha Shoyu and Furikake for your Rice
It’s Aloha Friday and you couldn’t do better than this!

That’s right, in Hawaii, today has been designated a holiday, so no work til Tuesday brah!!
So live it up!

This Aloha Friday, I’m dreaming of Rice Cake and Baked Manapua back home at Chun Wah Kam Noddle Factory in Honolulu Hawaii.
This calls for some Hawaiian Food from Young’s Fish Market in Kalihi Hawaii.
Starting from the top/center of the tray, Opihi.
To the right of that is the Combination Plate: Laulau, Kalua Pig, Lomi Salmon, one BIG scoop Rice and Okinawan Sweet Potato.
Then you’ve got a bowl of Squid Luau, MMM!
To round it all out, the Kalua Pig Plate with Poi and Lomi Salmon.
DH and I shared this tray of ono~liciousness between us and inhaled every bit of it!
Not shown was a piece of Kulolo and Haupia for dessert.
Now, if we only had a Beer to wash this all down with, that my friends would make it perfect!
It’s pretty dawg-gone HOT out just about now, so here, have some Shave Ice from Matsumoto’s in Haleiwa, Hawaii. Mines one is the Rainbow with Ice Cream and Azuki Beans on the bottom!
